Thank you so much for stopping by my brand new Substack page. I’m excited to hop on the bandwagon and start writing here. If we’ve never met, hello! My name is Maddox, and I’m a writer, Spanish teacher, and soon-to-be PhD student. I particularly love to write (and read) speculative fiction and poetry, along with my research on queer representation in Latin American/Spanish literature and cinema. I’m so happy you’re here! If you’re interested in my writing, all my published work is currently listed on my website.
I plan to use this page as a space to share my writing, book reviews/reading habits, essays, general musings, and anything else that crosses my mind. Family and friends are welcome, and I hope to make some connections with new friends while I’m here! To set some intentions right off the bat, my goal is to share a post every other week, turning all those ideas bouncing around my head into lovely, coherent paragraphs.
